The film stars Shahid Kapoor, opposite Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles, paired together for the second time after Kaminey. The tagline is “thrice upon a love story”, as the premise is set between 1910, 1960, and 2012. Each actor plays a different character in each time period, but each character they play is linked to one another. The film was released on 22 June 2012 in 1500 screens across India. The theatrical trailer was revealed on 6 April 2012, along with Housefull 2 in cinemas.

5) Barfi : Barfi! is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film directed by Anurag Basu. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz in lead roles. It is expected to be released on 14 September 2012. The title was earlier credited as Khamoshi and Silence, but it was later changed.

8) Lootera : Lootera is an upcoming 2012 Bollywood romantic film directed and co-produced by Vikramaditya Motwane and starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. The film is a co-production between Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Vikas Bahl, Anurag Kashyap, Madhu Mantena & Vikramaditya Motwane’s production house Phantom. The movie is partly inspired by American author O Henry’s short story The Last Leaf.
