Shahid Kapoor Hindi Movies List
Posted on 8:18 AM by Unknown
Shahid Kapoor started his acting career with ads. Born to actors Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azim, carving a niche in Bollywood was no cakewalk for this boy.
He is greatly influenced by his father Pankaj Kapur, who is a critically acclaimed actor. His parents got divorced when he was only three, but he shares a good relation with his father and stepmother Supriya Pathak.
Shahid Kapoor was only 18 when he got to work in a Pepsi commercial with Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee. He is trained in dance by the renowned Bollywood choreographer Shiamak Davar. He was also part of his troupe. Ad-man Ken Ghosh was the first to recognize his talent and gave him film ‘Ishq Vishk’ which did mediocre business. Shahid also won Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for his performance in the film. He dated actress Kareena Kapoor for three years and parted ways in the year 2007.
Earlier he was just a cute face with good dancing abilities, but later Shahid Kapoor evolved himself as an actor. Initially dubbed as a dark horse, he gave hits like ‘Vivaah’ (2006) and ‘Jab We Met’ (2007).

2.Sivaji (2007) - This movie is one of the costliest one made in India, but we cannot expect jurrasic park, titanic or terminator because tamil film industry is more into business pressure rather then creativity. That too superstar Rajini, director Shankar both this celebrities want to safeguard their position rather then trying something new. I swear that this movie is not bad.The story is about the man Sivaji who wants to invest his money into social service, but politicians, rival enterpreneurs doesn't let him to do good(as per the rule of screenplay),he overcomes the troubles by making black money into white money in robinhood action style. The story is told reaaonably in good pace with good treat for eyes.Especially 5 songs were great, visually stunning.Next thing comes to our mind after songs in sivaji is Comedian vivek. He does good job. After this obviously some glimpses of rajini's style in the movie is also good.Action, romance scenes were average since it is not story oriented, its not gripping. Especially astrology related scenes, heroine letting down sivaji by trapping him into police were simply boring. The only question i have about this movie is why rajini is not fluent, comfortable, firing in all ways.I guess may be pressure riding 60crore business?Overall the movie is average, not a let down. The only question i have to director Shankar is,"Is there no story available to be told in entertaining way?Don't you feel innovation is primary yardstick of movie making.
