1) Ek Tha Tiger : Ek Tha Tiger is a 2012 Bollywood romantic action thriller film starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Kabir Khan, the film marks the third collaboration of Kabir Khan with Yash Raj Films after Kabul Express (2006) and New York (2009). It is also Salman's first film with the company. The music for the film has been composed by Sohail Sen, along with a guest composition by duo Sajid-Wajid.

2) Players:  A Indian action thriller movie is Players released on January 6, 2012. The film is directed by Abbas- Mustan and produced jointly by Burmawala Partners and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film casts Abhishek Bacchan, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Bipasha Basu, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Omi Vaidya, Sikander Kher and Sumit Sarkar. It is a remake of the Hollywood blockbuster” The Italian Job”. It was filmed in different location like New Zealand, Russia and some parts of North Pole. It is an action thriller in which Charlie a chartered accountant by profession in day light and a master thief in the dark part of the day accompanied by Riya. Charlie’s friend raj was killed by Russian mafia. Raj’s wife provides them a CD to describe how gold will be transferred to Romania from Russia. Charlie planned to rob the train with help of Victor Braganza. A team was hired for the robbery. The robbery is done successfully. Later it was noticed 1 team member double crossed and fled with the gold. The story goes on chasing for the gold. It was an entertaining thriller.

3) Agneepath:  Agneepath an Indian action drama movie of 2012 produced by karan johar and Hiroo Yash Johar, under the banner dharma production. It is remake of the 1990′s Agneepath. It is an action packed thriller starring Hrithik Roshan as Vijay, Priyanka Chopra as Mary Matthew, Sanjay Dutt as Kancha Cheena and Rishi Kapoor as Rauf Lala in the lead roles. Agneepath is a drama of revenge in which a young lost his father, who is killed by a don. The boy after growing up takes the revenge aggressively. The main highlight of the movie is the power acting by Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt. The music by Ajay-Atul’s music is mind blowing and appealing. Item number “chikni chameli” was super hit. The movie did well in Box office.

4) Tezz:  Tezz a Hindi action thriller film directed by Priyadarshan did well in the box office in 2012. The Film casts Anil Kapoor as Arjun, Ajay Devgn as Aakaash, Kangna Ranaut as Nikita, Zayed Khan as Aadil, Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani, and Mohanlal as Shivan and Sameera Reddy as Megha. The story centers round a bullet train hijacking. Mohan lal a good and dutiful cops of Scotland police chase Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor in pivotal role. Kangana plays the role of Aakaash’s wife. A bomb threat on the train created sensation among the people. How the people are saved from the culprit sets the stage of suspense in a cat and mouse chase. It is actually the story of a man who is out in the journey for getting back what was taken from him in an unjustified manner.

5) Jannat 2: An action crime thriller and a sequel to 2008, hit Jannat is Jannat 2. The film cast Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta and Randeep Hoda in lead role and directed by Kunal Deshmukh. It released on 4 May 2012 and gets mixed reviews in box office. It is a story of a young man Sonu who wants to achieve the heaven in his life. Pratap a cop wants to crack the illegal gun trade of the underground and need a reliable person like Sonu to expose this racket. After entering the underworld, Sonu fell in love with Jhanvi and secretly plan to flea away from the underworld and also from the role of a secret police agent. The story goes on and you need to watch to know the climax of the movie.

6) Rowdy Rathore : Rowdy Rathore is a 2012 Indian action film directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala. The film features Akshay Kumar in double roles opposite Sonakshi Sinha. It is a remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu which was later remade in Tamil as Siruthai and which had been dubbed into Malayalam as Vikramathithya, Bhojpuri as Vikram Singh Rathod IPS, Kannada as Veera Madakari, and Hindi as Pratighat. It marks the return of Akshay Kumar in the action genre after 7 years.

7) Khiladi 786 : Khiladi 786 is an upcoming action comedy film directed by Ashish R Mohan. Featuring Akshay Kumar in the title role Asin, Mithun Chakraborty, Paresh Rawal and Himesh Reshammiya will also appear in pivotal roles. It will be produced by Fox Searchlight Pictures and Hari Om Entertainment. The film marks the return of Akshay Kumar to his famous Khiladi film series after 12 years since he acted in Khiladi 420. The music rights are sold to HR Musik, and is scheduled to release on 7th December 2012.

8) Dabangg 2 : Dabangg 2 is an Indian masala action film directed and produced by Arbaaz Khan. It stars Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles, with Prakash Raj playing the role of the main antagonist. It also has Vinod Khanna, Deepak Dobriyal and Nikitan Dheer in supporting roles. It is a sequel to the 2010 film Dabangg and is set in the city of Kanpur. The distribution rights were sold to UTV Motion Pictures for a price of 140 crore, the highest for a Bollywood film till date.
